Hibachi Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Restaurant

Overall, it was a pretty good time. The food was good except for the sushi. I don't necessarily believe you get the value for the price you pay with the appetizers. The bang bang shrimp was so small, haha. And the sushi was flavorless, dry, and just overall, really disappointing. We came for my friends bday and they gave her a little cake which was sweet c:

Yummy food and fun experience. Menu prices reflect the fact that they cook in front of you (mostly over $30 per person, $15 per child, depending) but the service was quick and interactive, and includes mini soup and salad appetizers. Depends on who you get to cook for you, but generally expect lots of fire and banter. Go when you’re in an adventurous mood!

Torn between giving a 3 or 4 star but ultimately giving a 3 star. Stirfry, our waiter was absolutely hysterical and made our entire night. The food was delicious and overall it was fun. However, we were not given our salads when we ordered entrees (it comes with salad) and we had to wait 45 minutes for them to take our entree order because there was only 1 chef. We then were left in the restaurant for almost 45 minutes after closing because our waiter never came to check on us. All our drinks were empty and we had been ready to go since closing and then when giving our cards they took forever to get back. They were literally putting chairs up on the tables all around us while we just sat there wondering what we were supposed to do and where our waiter was. Stirfry said he loved having us and liked having us as company and didn’t want us to leave which is why he took so long. Last time I came the service was excellent but the time before that I also had a couple issues and the food was not as good. I also came for my birthday in 2021 where I was very impressed with all except the noodles. So it really depends on the chef and therefore because of the inconsistency of how it will be when I go, that’s the reasoning for my 3 stars.

My family and I visited from Florida and came to this restaurant due to the star rating. We were sitted before other guest, but no one came to our table to wait on us. Others came after us and received service. The managers and others saw us walking out and still didn't feel the need to assist. I hope it's not due to our complexion. However, shame on this restaurant for making us feel this way. Not cool at all. After I came back in to bring it to the managers attention, she then tried to blame it on the "new" server, but it was a manager that assisted the server with seating us.... smh

I'm disappointed with our service. Our server was not attentive. When our reservation was made we state it was for a birthday and we told our chef. Nothing was done to memorialize this celebration. We did however watch other customers receive fun celebrations from staff for their birthday! I was also disappointed with the shrimp and scallops. For the price I was surprised that I received 4 scallops and a handful of shrimp. I don't think we'll be back.
